theres no such thing as 4/3
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
I don’t know much at all about music theory, but wouldn’t the timing be 4/3?
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
this is my all time fav song, the lyrics seem more like a poem (which is what music is) but the lyrics remind me of the past memories that a want to forget, and wish never happened so i wouldnt have to try so hard to forget them

Why’re they so jizzy? :3
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
Awsome

This is a beautiful song.

This band has the most beautiful sounding songs in the world.
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
Pretty sure this is in 6/4. Doesn’t really matter, of course.
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
not sure.
I’m trying in 12/4 (’til the end of the first sentence which starts with a syncop on the guitar).
No?
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
totally fooled me for awhile though. it’s an awesome song, the rhythm is really cool
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
the whole song is in 4/4 except the drummer counts off in 6/4 for one measure in the beginning
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
yes im aware.
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
it’s called syncopation
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
Either that or they have balls filled with musical knowledge ready to bukkake blast the first ignorant piece of shit dumb enough to try and act hard.
That being said, here’s a towel.

I really enjoy lyrics that read like poetry; without the structure of verse, chorus, verse, chorus and so on. Tells the story behind the song so much better I feel.
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
if you put in some sort of value you could get a 5th of that value. im pretty sure it could be done.
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
How could a computer do it any more than a person?
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
i agree 100%. im looking to cover this song with a band but i play it by myself all of the time. i have to say though, with them broken up a huge amount of incredible music has come from it. however, i cant imagine how much more amazing music they could have made. i guess it was never meant. that was lame i know.
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
I can get most of it fairly well on drums, but it’s obviously 4/4 if you play the guitar part or the bass. I’ve written out the quitar sheet music (I cover this song a lot), and it fits pretty well in a 4/4 time signature.
What really matters is that this song is amazing and it’s a shame that they broke up so soon.
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
5/5 stars
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
this is exactly right, it definitely doesnt feel like 4/4 when your playing it on drums but it is in fact in common time.
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
well technically it doesnt but im sure a computer could do it. i agree with you and i thumbed this shit up because youre right but, computers could do it.
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
I’m no expert on time signature, actually i know very little, but I know how to count, and the way I’ve always counted this song is in 4. However!!! I count 3 measures of 4 not 4 measures of 4. Is this a possibility?
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
Guys who argue about time signature = Guys who sit down to take a piss
Just saying..
January 30th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
i agree. TTNG are amazing!
