@fillosofert – The argument is that he has won all of his fights because a lot of the people he fought have been bums. I have to admit there is some merit to that.

  2. HeathShadows Says:

Morton was a decent receiver in the NFL. No Hershel Walker in MMA, but a quality NFL’er in his time.

  3. Meoff01 Says:

leave the thinking to other ppl dude

  4. fillosofert Says:

yes, they need to hype him because he has won all his fights.

  5. elgrizzolito Says:

fedor is hyped by his handlers…hahahaaaaa

  6. TruongProductions Says:

lol i hope not. walker seems like a pretty cool guy

I was saying I think Tyson could take Fedor in a pure boxing match (at least if Tyson was like he was back in the 80s) but I think Fedor would/could win in an MMA match.

  8. Zttbm Says:

In a boxing match i think it wouldn’t even be close. A prime tyson was one of the most devastating things in the world. In MMA though i really can’t think. I mean… sure Tyson could easily get the KO, but if Fedor took him down he’d tie him in knots. Swings and roundabouts really.

  9. A86 Says:

Yeah, I took that back in a PM. But I do think Mike Tyson in his 80s prime might be able to take on Fedor.

  10. Zttbm Says:

You think pacman could beat emelianenko … ok gtfo. Pacman weighs what 148lbs? fedor has nearly 100lbs on him!

  11. sadowolf Says:

yea theres room for both in this world, and successful or failed crossovers more or less mean nothing for the sports as a whole, but more for the individuals that cross over. its like arguing that a track runner can come into the nfl and automatically be a star running back (or vise versa)

  12. A86 Says:

Actually I think Fedor is kind of hyped by his handlers. I think Brock Lesnar could give him a run for his money. But in a pure boxing match I think Manny Pacquiao or Mike Tyson (back in his 80s prime) could take him.

  13. Zttbm Says:

I know man! I never get why you have to be one or the other.

  14. sadowolf Says:

if only some people could understand this

  15. crackernuts Says:

@A86 So you are saying that a 230 lbs Fedor who hits like a frickin Mack truck couldn’t beat Pac-Man in a boxin match? BWA-ha-ha!!

  16. Zttbm Says:

Not always. I think certain boxing guys could do great in MMA. Certain MMA guys could do good in boxing. The rivalry thing’s stupid i’m a huge fan of both.

Having head movement doesn’t mean its fake

  18. 10MNTMEDIC Says:

I gotta give it to him that he looked kinda fearless going in and attacking like he did. Got KO’d quick. Looked better than Canseco though.

  19. Ktownsrealist Says:

it looks like dudes hair fell out lol

    please

  21. Bossman29577 Says:

You see the nod just before the KO??? can you say “this is some fixed crap???”… I CAN!

  22. Beachrunner333 Says:

Over 600 catches in the NFL…wouldn’t say that’s too bad…….isn’t 600 about the number of burgers you flip at McDonald’s each day?

  23. VCthaGOATdunker Says:

See how hard it is for a normal strong athlete to take down a trained fighter

  24. clockmover Says:

hey johnnie stick to catching balls for the lions… oh wait you sucked at that also….hmmmmm

  25. A86 Says:

A person who is trained in martial arts can keep up with someone who has trained for half or more of their life in boxing in a strictly boxing match? I doubt it. That’s like saying a jack of trades could beat a master in one of the skills.

Could Fedor or Chuck Lidell beat Manny Pacquiao if Fedor wasn’t allowed to use feet, legs, elbows or tackles and floor-work? Sorry man. I don’t think so.
